Because of excessive white/pattern white on this
litter, the pups sold from this litter will be sold on a
spay/neuter contract and will be “Not for Breeding”. They
will be excellent performance/companion dogs with brains,
structure and ability, but most importantly wonderful
temperaments. Chance will be placed in a special, loving home.
White Pattern/Excessive white, even though not as major an issue in
the breed, such as is epilepsy or cataracts, is a recessive gene
and must be carried by both the male and female being bred to
show up in the pups. In our research since this litter was born,
we understand all pups from this breeding will carry the gene no
matter the color of the pup. Heath will be retained by Amistad,
IF bred, will be bred very carefully. As the gene pool shrinks
in the breed because of more serious issues, it is our hope to
retain the lines of this cross in the breed gene pool but do it
carefully.
